A refurb of a failed animatronic idea to turn the B-list Fazbear character montgomery gater into a new member of the band for the 1987 location, Snapper's character was described in brand handbooks as: "A lovable Louisianian Croc with a heart made for partys. The black sheep of the family as the only Crocadile in an all-aligator family, Snapper made it his goal to save up enough money from the working class to eventually own his own business, an eatery where any kid, regardless of background, can be celebrated!
As a side note, these little handbook blurbs were designed by the company to be answers to if kids asked extensively about the characters in questions: their backstory, favorite things to do, etc.. While these snippets were great at first, employees often had to and were encouraged to make up their own stories for more passionate questions from children who were real fans of any given character. We made our own handwritten book for any and all made-up lore that was hung in the lounge for anyone to read so no employee gave incosistent information. I unfortunately don't have that; I think it was lost in the fire :-(
